Meet the Team
Konrad Andrag
I picked up a camera when I was 15, and I’ve been chasing light and wildlife ever since. Along the way, I’ve won BirdLife South Africa’s Youth Photography Competition, been featured by National Geographic, and co-founded the Youth Photographer of the Year (YouthPOTY) competition to uplift young creatives like myself.
Now, through Khanya Africa, I want to help you capture the wildlife moments you’ve always dreamed of — in wild places that inspire.
Sofia Goosen
My journey into photography began in 2019, when I was just 12 — and I’ve never looked back. In 2024, I won the BirdLife SA People’s Choice Award, and I’ve been shortlisted in multiple international and local competitions since.
Together, Konrad and I started Khanya Africa to create a space where we can share our skills, stories, and love for the natural world with other passionate photographers — whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your craft.
